Let Us Produce

We have been very busy around here planting our vegetable and flower gardens. I wish there were before pictures because the contrast is incredible. After fall last year, I was unable to clean up any of the gardens or flower beds due to my torn ACL, so it was really a mess. It feels so good to have this done now. We've got lettuce, spinach, swiss chard, beets, radish, pickling cucumbers, English cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini, all sorts of peppers, about 20 tomato plants, bok choy, Asian green beans (yum), pie pumpkins, melon, corn. We still have to plant potatoes and winter squash. I'll take one more walk around the farmer's market to see if there's anything else that looks interesting.

Have you noticed the price of food???? We are hopefully going to have an abundance of produce and we might put up a little stand in our neighborhood. If we can get a little extra $$, that would be great. We'll put it towards our vacation fund. Wait, do I have a vacation fund? Well, we'll start one.
